A lot of times I have heard people saying if you want to lose weight you should eat less, avoid a lot of fats or carbs or proteins. In fact on an average I meet 6 people in a day who tell me they haven’t been eating a particular product for a certain length of time because they feel that is necessary for them to lose weight.
In this race of losing weight and becoming fit, we forget that eating right is more important than eating less. Our body needs all the essential things everyday to function properly. Whether it is carbs, fats, proteins, vitamins or minerals you need it all. Not taking any one of these will not do any good to our bodies. It is our overall dietary pattern which is important. Eating right not only helps our body physically, it effects our mind mentally as well and helps secrete the right amount of happy hormones in our body thereby keeping many mental illnesses away like Alzeihmer’s ,Depression,etc.
Some of the things to keep in mind are:-
Eating at regular intervals i.e every 2 hours to boost our metabolism.
Eating all sort of food to ensure that our body gets all the nutrients.
Eating fruits and salads to keep our body fresh, skin glowing and losing weight.
Drinking at least 8 to 9 glasses of water every day.
Do not avoid eating your favorite food, Remember “You Just Have One Life, So Why Spend It Always Thinking About What You Cannot Eat.” The trick is learning the art of maintain a balance.
